Actually, Janice, my memory of dinner after the caucus is that a
bunch of Canadians and honorary Canadians and wannabe Canadians
wander out into an unfamiliar city on a vague hint from someone who
went to grad school somewhere near ("the restaurants are a couple of
blocks down that way"), and spend an hour or so completely unable to
organize a satisfactory decision-making process, usually huddled at
intersections in a cold spring drizzle.
So I'm equally happy to know that Roger will lead us somewhere --
Berghoff's, which I remember pretty well, would be just fine.
(Come to think of it, the best of these disorganized excursions I
remember was also in Chicago, in Chinatown, where Patrick Dias
unilaterally abrogated the decision making process, herded us into a
randomly chosen restaurant, and ordered "dinner for 18" -- or 21, or
whatever it was.)
