Funny, Graham, exactly the opposite happened to me. I left Chicago
a fairly reticent, self-effacing, polite person, and after about an
hour and a half in Fredericton I became a brash, self-promoting,
just-this-side-of-obnoxious individual. Must be the Maritime air.
I _am_ getting over it, though, slowly . . .
