Charlie,

I have  had the same experience when I was on  Requip  -  Would  "drop off
line"  in mid sentence while talking with someone in  same manner as  you
described. Also had problem with the sleep attacks and even went off the
road on several occasions. Had some other problems  also BUT all  of these
disappeared within  two weeks of  finally getting off the stuff. Requip may
benefit some, but it had some almost  deadly side effects for me. I would
rather be stiff and in pain than take  my car through the ditch and hope for
a soft landing!
