Subject: [TechRhet] New Website Resource for Compositionists Who Work with
Technology
Hey, all--
A new resource for composition faculty who work with technology has just
been released:
http://www.hu.mtu.edu/~cyselfe/P&TStuff/P&TWeb/Introduction.htm
(Also available from http://www.ncte.org/cccc)
Developed by Cynthia Selfe, Linda Hanson, Gail Hawisher, Victor
Villanueva, and Kathleen Yancey, the Web site is designed for composition
faculty whose professional lives focus on computer technology. It
provides multiple perspectives on the ways others especially department
chairs and members of tenure and promotion committeesmay see and evaluate
work with technology.
This site outlines five fictional tenure and promotion cases of
composition faculty who work with computer technology addressing their
contributions in the area of teaching, scholarship, and service.
