In the statement: "...cell research is not okay because the potential for
life is there."

The key word is 'potential'. What about the people who ARE ALIVE and
SUFFERING?

What about the people who have spent their lives working, sacrificing for
their children, going to church, singing in the choir, playing with their
grandchildren and actually contributing to the world, like my dad. Don't they have
rights? Don't they have the right to quality of life?

Instead, we are perfectly willing to stand by and watch our family members
and friends afflicted with these debilitating diseases to lose the battle with
their bodies because there is a dish of cells that have the 'POTENTIAL' of life.

How will these people feel when their 40 year old son or daughter is
afflicted with Parkinsons in the prime of their life and they have to just sit by and
watch their child's bodies fail them knowing that there is a dish of cells in
a lab somewhere that is more important to protect than finding a cure for the
PEOPLE WHO ARE ACUTALLY ALIVE AND SUFFERING!!!!!!

IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!
