CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

*Rhetor: Journal of the Canadian Society for the Study of Rhetoric* invites submissions for its second volume, slated for publication in 2006.

*Rhetor* is a refereed on line journal published biannually by the Canadian Society for the Study of Rhetoric. The first volume (2004) of this new journal in the field of rhetorical studies is available at <www.cssr scer.ca>.

As a scholarly association, the Canadian Society for the Study of Rhetoric is committed to exploring the dynamic diversity and disciplinary intersections that characterize rhetorical studies in Canada and internationally. In keeping with this spirit, we invite submissions for the second volume of *Rhetor* from scholars in diverse disciplines whose work addresses rhetorical theory, practice, history, or criticism from a broad range of perspectives. For a sense of *Rhetor*'s inter-disciplinary and multi-perspectival nature, please refer to the first volume.

We welcome articles in either English or French. All articles must be formatted according to MLA guidelines and must not exceed 6,000 words. Please submit two hard copies as well as an electronic file in Word format. Include a separate cover page with the name(s) of the author(s), affiliation(s), and contact information including email address(es). Do not include names or other identifying information in the article itself.

Submission deadline: September 1, 2005

Send submissions to:

Philippa Spoel
Editor, *Rhetor*
Department of English
Laurentian University
Sudbury, ON P3E 2C6

Electronic Word files should be sent as attachments to: [log in to unmask]

Editrice, *Rhetor*
