Dear colleagues,
we hope you will join us to visit with old friends and colleagues and meet new ones at CATTW's 2007 conference "Writing in Changing Communities--Communities Writing Change" at the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon from May 27-29.
More than 70 colleagues from across Canada and beyond, including keynote presenters Janet Giltrow, Charles Bazerman, and Michel Knobel & Colin Lankshear, will share their work in the areas of writing within and across the disciplines, genre studies, the rhetoric of science, environmental rhetoric, business communication, workplace writing, engineering communication, writing in digital environments and global contexts, writing center development, service learning in writing courses, university-wide writing initiatives, institutional and politics around writing studies, and more.
The conference web site and program are now available at http://cattw-acprts.mcgill.ca/conference2007/en/index.htm (in English) or at http://cattw-acprts.mcgill.ca/conference2007/fr/index.htm (in French).
As always, we are part of the Congress organized by the Federation for the Humanities and Social Sciences, so that registration, travel, and accommodations will be handled by the Congress. You can access the Congress Web site here: http://www.fedcan.ca/congress2007/.
Please also pass the invitation on to your colleagues in your departments and elsewhere.
We hope to see you in Saskatoon in May!
Doreen, for the conference organizing committees
