The Program in Writing, Rhetoric, and Professional Communication in the
Faculty of Arts and Humanities at *The University of Western Ontario*
(http://www.uwo.ca/writing/) invites applications for a probationary
(tenure-track) position at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin 1
July 2008 in Technical Communication. The completed PhD, or equivalent,
and experience and promise in research and teaching are minimum
qualifications; published work is advantageous. For PhD candidates in
the final stages of the thesis, supervisors must provide written
confirmation of the completion date for applications to be considered.
Position is subject to budget approval. Applicants should have fluent
written and oral communication skills in English. All qualified
candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadians and permanent
residents will be given priority. The University of Western Ontario is
