You mentioned three scales for evaluating PD. The U.P.D.R.S., The Hoehn
and Yahr and the Schwab and England Activities of Daily Living Scale.
Could you please post some more information about them?  Also, are there
specific "scores" that would encourage or preclude someone from having a
pallidotomy?
