Thanks Russ. I'm really not sure why University Affairs decided to focus
on that story in particular. The research will involve a fair amount of
work -- and very little funding from CU (for research assistants0 -- but
it dovetails very neatly -- overlaps actually -- with the SSHRC project
that you know about (and another one on students in co-ops that Pete and I
are working on with Ivor Goodson), so it's not clear that it really will
mean more commitment on my part than I would already be committed to.
(See -- if I could edit here, I might think about revising that last
sentence. But I can't -- and refuse to learn how.)
ANd I do know that this is going out to everyone this time, but so
did your original congrats, Russ, and so I wanted to thank you publicly,
and also to modify the impression presented by that piece (which actually
I have yet to see).
