PLEASE X-POST

Please be advised that participants in the 1999 Congress will
follow a new routine for accommodations, meals and events, and travel:
ONE STOP-SHOPPING at

                        1-888-493-3112 (toll-free)
                        FAX: USA + 616-493-3211

Effective December 1, 1998: 1999 participants may book Congress
hotels (the Radisson included) by calling the 1-888 number and reserving a
room with a credit card.

When the entire program is ready for distribution, participants
will work with Corporate Events Management, which is at the above numbers,
to book ALL conference services and facilities, including on-campus
dormitory arrangements, registration fees, meals, events, etc., as well as
hotel arrangments on our expanded list. The Medieval Institute WILL NO
LONGER serve as a booking agent for the Congress.

Congress information should be available online at the end of
January, 1999. Hardcopy, i.e., the printed program, should be available in
the first half of February. Those USA participants who have paid for
Priority Mail will receive their programs at that level of USPS service.
All other USA participants will receive their programs bulk mail.

Outside of the USA and Canada the following numbers are functional

                        PHONE: USA + 616-493-4211
                        FAX: USA + 616-493-3211

The toll-free system does not, of course, work outside of USA and Canada.

The postal address for Corporate Events Management is:

                        Corporate Events Management
                        32 Market S.W.
                        Grand Rapids, MI 49503
