Mr. Klainberg, when are you going to give this up? I've tried to stay out
of this debate and let others voice their opinions first as I am the one who
originally sent the "chuckle". However, your sanctimonious objections are
beginning to show your ignorance and, in fact, are becoming quite boring.
I have no prejudices regarding jews. I was not raised around them and the
only "rumors" I can recall is that they are "good business people" (which I
have also always realized was like any other generalization: some are, some
aren't) Now however, you being obviously more informed, have taught me
that jews are also thought to be "rich thieves".
Please get a grip and stop believing that bright, good and well-meaning
people such as we on this list laugh at jokes because they are cruel to
anyone. Don't you realize that you are not going to be able to control
everyone's thoughts, words and deeds?
Thank goodness my self esteem keeps me from taking every "woman" joke
personally. Let's give it a rest. Sharon
