Immediate apologies to those stuck in areas of our frozen homeland who are
not going to Atlanta for CCCC: I am not gloating, but in my capacity as
Canadian Caucus chair I did want to ask those Inkshedders who are going to
consider some possible topics for the Canadian Caucus-sponsored session for
next year. During the Caucus we often make some hasty decisions about topic
and usually keelhaul some poor, reluctant soul into organizing a panel, so
I thought some pre-C's thinking might help us. There have been some lively
CASLL threads recently, any one of which would serve. Volunteers to
organize the panel and propose papers will be warmly welcomed. (Really, I'm
not gloating; that's "warmly" as in enthusiastically.) Something about
Web-based courses, perhaps? Something from the "Issues in Composition at
Canadian universities" thread? See you there (that is, if you are there).
