Here's an early (an informal) "heads up" regarding another rhetoric/composition
position coming up at UCC. I've reported already about the
new "Rhetoric and Professional Writing" major we've developed
here--& now that Henry has become Dean of Arts (congrats Henry!),
we'll be looking for a replacement, probably to start in
January. Please spread the word, &, since I've been asked to chair the hiring
committee, don't hesitate to email me or phone with any questions/
general inquiries.
FYI, UCC is a university college with apprx. 8000 students. We offer
a range of degrees & several graduate degrees (not in Rhetoric
yet). RPW is an option available to our students as part of the
English Major. Currently we have around 80 majors & 45 faculty
in the English & Modern Languages Dept.
Again, this is simply an informal notice of intent. The official
ad will be released sometime next month.
Regards, Will
