happy 2k all i've been switching computers [yikes] and thus have been forced to tackle some long outstanding filing issues and thus re-discovered one of my scribblins about cd and thought gee whilikers this might be a good way to start the year/century/millennium off jmp --------------------------------------------------------------- fire and damp --------------------------------------------------------------- we all have to deal with this stuff in our own way and in our own time cause our answers lie deep down inside our own hearts and souls nowhere else because we are each of us totally unique and will never be duplicated as a human being again the problems and tasks we've been given to solve come from our own authentic souls and are a custom fit and so they are just as unique as we are we can share and nurture and empathize with each other but we can't solve anyone's problems but our own solving the problems is in itself a 'retraining' experience for our neurons in the same way that making our own mistakes is my amazing brain rewires itself and adapts and changes and grows as i learn as i goof up as i experience it all cd is all about self esteem and loving oneself which an awful lot of us have to learn even as grumpy old adults still learnin, dang it! part of loving ourselves is taking care of ourselves because we are the most important thing to us not what our family thinks not what our neighbours think not what our colleagues think not even what our friends and lovers think we each have our own 'spark' which is ready and eager to burst into flame as soon as we open up the damper a tad cd is a perfect wet blanket for keepin that spark from gettin anywhere but it never goes out and is always waiting for the chance to toss those dang blankets out the dang window and open up that damper wide and let's get a good draft going and bring that good dry kindlin over here and yowza that's wun heckuva fire ya got goin there, sweetie! --------------------------------------------------------------- janet paterson 16 february 1997 --------------------------------------------------------------- janet marie paterson 52 now / 41 dx / 37 onset http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Village/6263/ 613 256 8340 PO Box 171 Almonte Ontario Canada K0A 1A0
