DISCLAILMER?
When i reposted this petition a few days ago,, my intention was not to reopen
it. I was merely being supportive of Greg;s brilliant (i thought) suggestion
of putting an advertisement in a portland newspaper. I thought this petition
might serve as the focal point on which to base such a letter. To my
amazzemnt, people started sending in signiatures. Ivan approved, and it
seemed ot gain general acceptamce across the list. so i've gone ahead with it,
and with a few minior adjiustments, will forward it to the governor. I think
it is especially a ppropriate in regard tot hte ingerest the governor has
recently been showing.

caregivers for PWP's, and other friends of fellow World Parkinson's
e-mail Exchange List subscriber and PWP, Ivan Suzman. We urgently
request that he be recognised by the City of Portland, Maine as being
disabled, unable to earn an adequate income, and therefore eligible

RELIEF
\ and relief from sewage charges. He needs to remain the owner of and
resident at his Parkinson's-adapted house at 9 Range Street in Portland,
but has no regular income besides Social Security.
