Don,
This is a reply t your post on 1/1/2000. About Ivan's petition and help for
PWP's and ramps.

I joined the list back in October. I have mainly have just read messages and
am learning much. Kind of getting to know the people on line. And it didn't
take long to figure out why they call you "cyber-dad".

When I was growing up and things would get confusing, I would then seek the
wisdom of my step-father and he always would things seem so clear by making
me look at things at another angle or sometimes making me view the WHOLE
PICTURE. I lost my step-father 10 yrs ago to Pancreatic Cancer. And my
mother also has PD. She has the tremors, and I have the rigidity and
freezing. I don't discuss my challenges with her because she worries
enough.(She's a Mom)

I am 37 now and was dxd with PD at age 31. I've been married 17 yrs to Dan,
a wonderful husband and father to our 2 children Daniel who's 14 and Alicia
who is 11. But the future with PD scares me sometimes.

Thank You Don, for your wisdom and perspective on things. Since my dad is
no-longer here. I need someone to open my mind (as sometimes I can be narrow
minded) You have such a wonderful attitude on life.

And Don I will not look DOWN at you. I will first join you on the floor so I
can look you eye to eye. I look UP to people like you. And I Thank God for
putting people like you in my life. (He knows our needs)

And Vivian the CG, what a saint. I worry sometime about the burden I may
become to my husband.

Thanks again for sharing your life experiences with us.
