It sounds as if you are talking about Botox injections.  Botox is a
"watered-down" or weakened version of botulinum toxin.  It is injected into
specific muscles and weakens just that particular muscle (it does not go
into the patient's system).  It is a temporary remedy - injections will need
to be repeated every three to four months depending on the muscle being
injected, how much is injected and the severity of the problem the Botox is
attempting to fix.  Botox is produced by a company called Allergan located
at 2525 Dupont Drive, Irvine, CA, 92715 (714) 752-4500.  I'm sure the people
at Allergan will be happy to send you more detailed information about
Botox's use.
