I disagree with the common notion in the US that Brits have no or poorly developed sense of humor. Perhaps I'm naive, but I laughed more at Benny Hill and "Ab Fab" than at any American show. But if you focus down to British Doctor humor, that may be different. Anyway, if you want a lot of that, see the entire BMJ for 18-25 Dec 1999.
