Hi, I have been on Cabergoline for over 2 years now, and have nothing but praise for it. I am unaware of experiencing any ill effects, and appreciate its "once a day" dosage, and that since starting it, dyskenesia has 99% disappeared. However, I realise that this is how it works for me, and not neccesarily how it will work for the next person. Regards, Nigel,.....45/12 also taking,...Madopar(Disp'), Eldepryl,Amantadine, Amitriptyline. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[log in to unmask]> To: <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2000 2:46 AM Subject: Re: cabergoline > Joe, > I was on the clinical trial for Cabergoline for four years and was told that > both drugs (the other being pramipexol) were approved by FDA, but only > pramipexol was to be marketed for PD.......since there was another market for > the cabergoline. > > The cabergoline was not without MAJOR side effects for me. > > I would NOT go back to the cabergoline if it were offered to me.....I am on > mirapex and sinemet. > > Rita Weeks 55/10 >
