1) PWPs are often the
least reliable assessors of their symptoms and the extent to which they are
impaired in carrying out a function
2) If your family won't
ride in the car while you're driving, they are giving you a message
3) You may very well say
"But I want to keep my independence."
To
that statement, I respond
"Is
the price of retaining your independence maiming or killing an innocent third
party, to say nothing of your family and friends?"
4) I am confident that
all responsible PWPs would answer no to point 3 above.
I have been there. Stopped driving because of PD, was
recertified in a rigorous testing program and now drive
again.
