The effect of a mild stroke can produce symptoms similar to Parkinson's.
Any lack of blood / oxygen sufficiency can produce Parkinson's disease like
symptoms.  This is usually referred to as parkinsonism rather than
Parkinson's or PD.  In Europe, particularly eastern Europe, parkinsonism is
a term used to describe stroke / arterial constriction.

and if so how does it differ from "regular" pd.  thank you.
