Ask your father's physicians if they would insert into their differential
diagnosis neuroleptic malignant syndrome. They may have already, but it
doesn't hurt to ask. In medical school, one of our professors said, "If you
hear hoofbeats, think of horses, not zebras." Your father could have a
zebra.
