Mysoline (generic=primidone) is indeed an anti-epileptic medicine, as stated
by Hans. However, in the last few years, it has been found to be effective
in the treatment of essential tremor.

Essential tremor is an action tremor, different from the resting tremor of
Parkinson's Disease. The tremor of Parkinson's disease is slow, and is
decreased by voluntary movement. Action tremors typically do not decrease
with voluntary activity.
