In reply to JIM's ?, Is a weight gain common with pd? Some Parkinson's meds can cause water retention and thus weight gain. Also the decreased amount of activity caused by a pwp's difficulty with movement can cause decreased calorie use and thus gain in weight. Again, this varies greatly from one pwp to another.
