Allan... Virtually all commercially produced liquid supplements offer more protein then the average Parkie's system can handle without running into a major problem with "protein overload." A "protein overload" is when your protein intake causes your PD-drugs to not work at their maximum best (and these meds are fussy enough already!) <groan> AND when your meds aren't working at their maximum best your body's gonna have exacerbated PD-symptoms - YIKES! Very uncomfortable... It's too bad that the companies which produce these liquid supplements don't also produce a limited protein supplement, 'cause PD is not the ONLY chronic disease which requires a limited protein intake, so I'd think there'd be a good sized market for that kind of supplement.
