If you are not aware that levodopa/carbidopa in the regular formula, or
Sinemet CR, is of any benefit to you then there is no point in taking it.
These drugs improve the symptoms of Parkinson's but have NO KNOWN effect on
the course or progression of the illness.

You should discuss this with your Neurologist if you feel there is no
benefit.  Perhaps an adjustment to a higher dose could be of benefit, if he
feels it would be appropriate for you, so long as you are not experiencing
side effects.
