Carol,
You're not too young to get SSDI, although it is more difficult to obtain
under 50.  If your neuro is not a movement disorders specialist you may have
a hard time convincing him that you should be on disability.  With the
statement he made about being "too young" I'd bet he won't submit a strong
enough report on your behalf.  I hope I'm wrong.  The first person you must
convince is your doctor.  If he hasn't submitted his report yet you might
want to have a talk with him if you haven't already.  This link might help.
