I spoke to him tonight about the need for increased calcium.   He said he
drinks gallons of milk a week* maybe a slight exaggeration * but I pointed
out to him that isnt the right way to ingest the extra needed. He drinks
gatorade by the bottle which has potassium in it, but I agree that if one is
deficient in that mineral, even 5 lbs of bananas won't help that much. I
told him I take calcium supplements which include vitamin D, but by his
response I don't believe he takes any extra supplements at all.  I do thank
you for the help Ed and for the advice that reinforces my ideas as well.
You and all on the message board are a great source of information and
support for all of us who are new as I am.
