Hello Ralph:
A common skin disorder associated with PD is SEBORRHEA: the oil glands secrete a substnace that inflames the skin and causes redness and greasy scaling. The rash shows up as yellow-red patches of scales...usually on the scalp, the face and chest.
     Its direct cause is unknown....
Selsun Blue shampoo works in mild cases....and hydrocortisone cream .05% is effective.
Good luck

Dear colleagues of the List: Has anyone heard of a rash developing after
years of taking carbidopa/levodopa, ( 25/100) that was attributed to either
component of this drug?

Please reply if you have any information> Thanks, Ralph.
