OTC drugs, too. The remainder of this is a description of Washington, the state. Make no mistake, Washington is really the Soviet of Washington, and tries to avoid being part of the US. State senator Dan McDonald, R, who is running for US Congress in the 1st cong dist, is sponsoring a bill that prevents citizens from contacting their elected representatives to speak (lobby) with them without first getting consensus from neighborhood councils. (No consensus=no talk.) Only after neighborhood consensus could one person be appointed to speak with the elected representative about the consented topic and consented opinion. First Amendment(!) you say? HA! A state representative has a bill in committee to teach "character" to school children. Have you ever read "Education for Death; the Making of the Nazi by Gregor Zeimer? It is a MUST read in light of the infamous education "re-form" in the country. The publisher is Oxford University Press, 1941. I go through Powell Books (out-of-print department) in Portland, Oregon, to get all my o.o.p. books. They have a 1-800 number. We also have a governor's commission on early childhood learning that has persuaded legislators to propose a bill to create "parent educators". This is based on "brain development" (which is disputed, disproved) and bogus research. The purpose is to make certain all (ALL!) children are "ready to start kindergarten"; all parents are to take state parenting classes. (Please, please, please read Education for Death; history is repeating itself and no one seems to notice or care.) There is already a state computer data base in place for tracking from birth to infinity (connected to Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies). Tracking starts in the hospital where the baby is born, exploiting the time the mother is emotionally vulnerable to gain permission. She is told the state provides a valuable service to her child; even a "home visitor" in the deal. Parents receive goodies, growth expectation charts, vaccination reminders, etc., in the mail for the first few years. Parents are not told they are being tracked or that they have to option to opt out of the state's tracking program. (Notice it is "opt out" not opt in). Doctors are asked to sign up for this tracking program. (Doctors do not have to tell parents that their child's records are being turned in to the State.) Schools report to the state the information they receive. The "benefit" promoted is "you'll never need to worry about your child's records. You can go anywhere because the school will only have to get the information it needs from the State computer." (Yeah, and later on the child's employer.) And just who is behind this commission? Gov. Gary Locke's & Bill Gates' wives are co-chairs of this committee. (Gov.'s wife, Mona Lee Locke, with an entourage, is the one who had to go to The Peoples Republic of China to find out how to raise her children because she didn't know how, no one had taught her, and no one here was capable. So folks, we just dial 1-800 BEIJING to find out how to raise our children. And on top of that...there is a bill up in legislative committee to require, for school admission, a child's birth certificate be placed in the permanent school record, which will be sent to the state (which already has the birth certificate; the state issued it...more tracking).
