HI aLL! ALL this talk about death and tight shorts has prompted me to
forward a poem I don't think i've sent before. Hope you like it!

Just for today

Just for today
I will be kind to my fellow man
not envious or uncaring
I will not speak ill of them
but willl endeavor
to be charitable in thought and deed
to see myself through their eyes
try and brighten someone's day
rather than casting a pall over their mood

Just for today
I will feel good about myself
dwell on thoughts that make me smile
relive my proudest moments
with no twinge of regrets
I shall not complain ofthings that I lack
but will appreciate the giifts God has given me
the warmth of the sun
thev cool beauty of the moon
the symmphony of the wind in the trees
the laughter of a child

Just for today
I will live exhilarated
breathe in life
delight in its aromas
the 4 seasons
I will indulge myself
an ice cream cone
the time to read a good book
play my guitar
write a poem

Just for today
if only for today
ar peace with myself and others
I will view the future with optimism
as an unopened gift
I will treat the present
as precious, precocious as a fragile rose
the past as serenely unchangeable...
All these things I vow
ONE day at a time.
