Ann G.... Funny you should ask - I had a BI-annual check-up with my Kaiser neuro, the ever-loving-Dr.Know-Nothing, yesterday and brought him a copy of the post about getting the botox injection to better control facial muscles and drooling and HE said it's "still experimental for PD," which is always the stock answer to an when one introduces something that Kaiser considers to be "far out." Never the less, I plan on calling around to the several other L.A. based Kaiser facilities and see if anyone of THEM will admit to performing the procedure. If I can find the procedure being done at any other Kaiser branch, they WILL go ahead and perform it for me. Please update me if you find out anything further about the botox injections and I'll be happy to do the same.
