(Psssst) Hey SHIRLEY <whispering> ....errrrr.... don't tell Phil I said this <wicked grin>, but after ya complete reading the book he recommended for ya - . "Essentials of Neural Science and Behavior" by Kandel, Schwartz, Jessell, AND after ya take the three-part test PLUS fill out the information sheet listing your personal medical history (Heck, no biggee - it's just 7 pages longer than a similar form ya have to fill out when ya apply to the Social Security Administration for your SSDI benefits) - you'll be pleased to know that you'll be honored with membership to the "I Read it But Didn't Understand a Word it Said" Club! AND not only that, but you'll be invited to make a guest appearance on the TV show "Fun and Lively Entertainment With Engineering and Medicine!" WOWIE! Pretty neat, huh? Of course, FIRST ya gotta read the book AND pass the test, but that should be a piece of cake, RIGHT PHIL? <grin> Seriously Shirley (and with apologies to Phil for teasing him), the NPF (National Parkinson's Foundation) Has put out a well written booklet called "What You and Your Family Should Know," (about Parkinson's Disease?) and I KNOW if ya drop a phone call to the NPF's National Headquarters - toll-free in the USA - to 1(800) 327-4545, or email 'em at [log in to unmask] - I'm sure they'll be pleased to send you a copy. I'd say you should tell 'em that Barb Mallut referred ya to them, however, they'd prolly just say "WHO?" <LOL> Barb Mallut [log in to unmask] -----Original Message----- From: Phil E.Gesotti <[log in to unmask]> To: [log in to unmask] <[log in to unmask]> Date: Wednesday, February 16, 2000 6:23 PM Subject: Re: Pictures and Drawings >Shirley wrote: > >"It's times like these when I wish there were pictures or drawings to >see so >I can better understand all this." > >Well Shirley have I got a book for you.
