Camilla - how interesting about the Egyptians worshiping cats. My 17year old is a registered Siamese and is worshipped by this 1/2 Irish, 1/4 indian and 1/4 french. My Turkish Angora is 6 years old and weighs 17 pounds. He is the first male cat I've had in 25 years, and believe me, he has been an extraordinary challenge. He is so territorial, that he is jealous of my love when he comes over. As far as the phase of the Moon is concerned. Just stop and think about how the moon affects the tides, etc., and how many auto accidents happen on the full moon, how many murders and spousal beatings occur and just down-to-earth arguments happen. Since my cats, as are all others (I think) are somewhat psychic anyway (at least I believe mine know what I'm thinking all the time), and they are so instinctive and sensitive, don't you truly believe they are affected by the moon.
