Well I go back to 38. The first election I remember was Truman. We older
kids were allowed to stay up and listen to the results on RADIO. Remember
those days??? My Dad was a staunce democrat and when JFK ran he refused to
vote because he would not vote republican or a catholic. Well after the Bay
of Pigs Dad said (you know I think I made a mistake,I think we got us a good
one.) That was the only time I ever heard him admit that he had made a
mistake. Shirley
