Hi, I am writing to introduce myself to the list. My name is Mary Cudly. I am an RN and a Social Worker and practice at the Fogelson Neuroscience Center at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. The Center's focus is on Parkinson's Disease. The Center is also the location of the APDA I & R Center for the North Texas area. I was on the list in the past but got off due to the volume of messages. I, however, missed the list and am rejoining because I found the list very helpful and informative. One bit of information that I want to pass on to the list at this time is about an upcoming Parkinson's Symposium, Parkinson's Disease - Beyond 2000 A new Century of Hope which will be held on March 10 -11, 2000 at the Westin Galleria in Dallas. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Ray Watts from Emory University. Other speakers include Drs. Stewart, Stewart, Desaloms, Rezak and Susan Reese. Susan Reese will be leading a support group leader training and net working session prior to the beginning of the symposium. She will also be sharing information on special issues for the young Parkinsonian during the symposium.
