Aimed at patients, family members, and the interested public, the database can be searched by keyword or browsed by condition or sponsor. Returns include study title, sponsor, location, design and purpose, eligibility criteria, and contact information. Additional resources at the site include a User's Guide, a backgrounder on clinical trials, and links to several related NIH sites. ClinicalTrials.gov will be updated frequently and will remain confidential (no registration is required).
