During Dick's appointment with his neuro today, we learned that the FDA will be hearing testimony on March 31st (in Washington, DC) for approval of two types of DBS - pallidal stimulation and STN. I'd mistakenly thought that pallidal stim was approved a year ago. Apparently not. Let's hope the FDA will approve both of these very helpful surgeries. Does anyone have any further information?
