Dave,

Imagery has been shown to be effective for a wide range of things - from
enhancing performance such as in sports to fighting cancer To me,
visualization is is a form of prayer and the effectiveness of prayer on
healing has even been scientifcally demonstrated. You might want to read
some books like - Healing Words by Larry Dossey and the Faith Factor by Dale
Matthews. Check the medical research. I attended a powerful symposium
attended by 700 health professionals (and some patients) held by Harvard
Medical School and the Mind/Body Medical Institute on Spirituality and
Healing. Their next session is March 19-21 in Denver. 671-432-1525. I am a
behavioral medicine psychologist who was diagnosed with PD at the age of 40
(8 years ago). I refused to buy into the grim imagery painted by the medical
system. I live with a vision of hope and healing and am actively researching
alternative therapies. Can we see our future without PD? Can we see a
future for the world without PD? My answer is yes.

Go for it!

Beverly
