Hi all, I've been a little quiet lately. Some of you are saying, "thank you", and others are just nodding in agreement. Ivan suggested that I share the experience I had last week with the List. I started taking Comtan 3 days prior and was elated at how it increased my "on" time. I went for almost the entire 3 days with very little "off" periods. It was truly amazing. Then it happened. While I was waiting for my food in a local restaurant I became light-headed. I had taken my meds (requip and sinemet) and a Comtan 35 minutes earlier. I thought I could shake the feeling, but it just progressively worsened. I was in trouble and I knew it. I made it half way out of the place when the bottom fell out. I plopped down on their fireplace mantel blocking the main egress to the dining room. Now I was not only an embarrasment, but a safety hazard as well. A concerned diner with some medical background assisted me. Hungry people were clamoring for the table I had just vacated. My pulse went down to 40 and I generally lost my appetite. The police (my ex-coworkers) arrived with the paramedics and we all had a grand time. Everything turned out ok and I got a free ride, a nights lodging, and several free meals out of the deal. There's no place like home. God bless the flushable toilet! I'm back on Comtan with caution. My Dr. is trying to regulate everything. As you all know it's a juggling act. Anyone have any similar experiences? Greg 47/35/35
