Hi Nancy and Ed,

The NIH and the National Library of Medicine recently started a website
listing current clinical trials funded by NIH. It is at:
http://clinicaltrials.gov/ct/gui
 They currently show 17 trials for PD that are recruiting patients. Until
the U.S. federal stem cell research regulations are accepted and
finalized, I don't think NIH, or any federal agency can fund research
involving stem cells.
Here is the current list of trials that are recruiting - more info. about
each one is available on the web site.
