I've actually known several PWPs who have tried Tai Chi and they loved it.
Actually, any exercise method that an individual will enjoy will more likely
keep him doing it on a regular basis - whether it be Tai Chi, water
aerobics, bike riding, karate (yes, I know several PD patients who have
taken karate lessions) or even square dancing. The slow, stretching
movements of Tai Chi can be very helpful but may be difficult for a PWP with
balance problems.
