In my case it was "stress" that set it off......just before my symptoms began to show, my husband left me for another woman, I moved and then I lost my job...any one of these is stressful enough...but all 3 together...I'm sure that in my case this stress was the trigger to begin my PD. << Hi Kelly, Stress doesn't cause PD but it exacerbates the symptoms. Stressfull events can therefor make symptoms visible that were subliminal allready present before the stressfull event. Hans.
