On this subject ,I am presently enrolled in a genetics study of families where two of more blood related people have PD. I have it, and I have a 1st cousin who also does. We have provided blood samples and given our history to the researchers. This study is being done by Vanderbilt and Duke universities, and maybe other places also. So we are just helping to a very small extent, the research in this area. We hope it will help someone else somewhere down the line.
