Hi Jeanne, I received 8 e-mails from your address today. They were automated responses to posts I placed on the Parkinson List... All e-mails were 140,000+ characters Each e-mail contained an attached file One was named humor.exe One was named s3msong.exe One was named midsong.exe One was named card.exe I didn't open them... I deleted them immediately. I believe your computer is infected with the same virus that was sent to members of the Parkinson List (Andrew Haynes, Don Mckinley, Connie Tate) last month. I belive it is generating automated responses when you read your e-mail. These responses are designed to propagate the virus. Please call a pro and get the virus wiped off your hard drive if you are unable to follow the advice below. Here is a copy of Andrew Haynes post re: how to handle this virus... ----- Original Message ----- From: Trend Support for PC-Cillin <[log in to unmask]> To: 'Andrew M Haynes' <[log in to unmask]> Cc: Trend Support for PC-Cillin <[log in to unmask]> Sent: Wednesday, February 23, 2000 1:39 AM Subject: RE: [20000223-51-PCEO-AYEP] Re: Upgrade > Dear Andrew, > > Greetings! > > The file that you sent us is indeed infected with TROJ_PLAGE2000.A. > > This is a Trojan horse.
