Recipe : dried fruit compote Ingredients Any and all varieties of dried fruits on sale at your local supermarket, including raisins and sultanas. And lots of prunes/ Add a small quantity of water, flavour with spices ( nutmeg and/or ginger/and //or cinnamon. Some peo;e might add some sugar - i prefer it tart. Cook until it is almost impassible to distinguish individual fruits - always on a low flame. Eat some with each meal.
