Because after pallidotomy, especially on one side, one requires more medication for several reasons, it is quite understandable that dyskinesias enhance, particularly on the non-operated side. Either you should have another surgery on the other side, in this case pallidal stimulation, or STN stimulation on both sides, which will significantly reduce the medication dosage.
