Cari, in my humble opinion, the drs response to your honest question was horrid. Have you given any thought to the possibility of letting that dr know that you were upset by his insensitive statement? Is the dr otherwise a supportive helpful dr. How do your parents feel about him? Just felt a need to le you know that I just do not feel that sort of thing is not acceptable.
