Has anyone seen the advertisement for the "Magic Carpet
Ride"? It's a new device marketed by Steppenwolf Motronics, Inc.,
especially for those afficted with movement disorders, in particular PD.
Supposedly it comes in rolls just like regular carpet. You just purchase
what you need and then have it professionally installed in every square inch of
your house. Plug it in to your 110v household current and it begins to
vibrate in a reverse negative polar cycle, which counteracts the forward
positive equatorial cycle of your PD symptoms. No more balance problems,
tremors, or difficulty moving about. True freedom! If you buy enough
of it during National Parkinson's Awareness Month they will throw in one of
those vibrating pens. What a great deal. Sign me up!
